yes, that right, anyone can learn to play guitar. How do i know, because if i can learn to play you can too (that is, it you don't already). For those who have never learned to play a musical instrument, it's never to late to start, or to early for that matter.

I've been playing the guitar for about 30 years now, and i still remember when i first started learning to play.i was definitely not a natural, in fact i was pretty bad at it for quite a few years. it just didn't come that easily for me.

Early on i would learn how to play parts of songs, but was never really able to play a song all the way through. eventually i got better and better and went through phases where i would stay at a certain level of playing for sometime, but as i look back it was all a progresson of levels of play that only comes naturally through continuous practice and playing. you just can't force it, you have to be where your at. But for anyone who sticks with it, like anything else in this world, you can get better and better.

Over the years i've played with bands, some good some bad, and at one point i acutually made money with one band for quite sometime. playing the guitar whether by myself or with a band still brings me great joy. theres nothing like learning a new song and being able to play it perfectly. And lets not forget writting new songs, once you learn how to write songs for guitar it opens up a whole new world of creativity.

There are so many resources for learning how tho play the guitar today, it's just amazing to me. when i first started back in the late 70's there just wasn't that many resourses out there. you could find books and if you were lucky you could find an instructor that was half way desent, but that was about it.

Today though you can search the internet and there are so many resourses. you can learn to play any style of guitar and probably get good very quickly. i'm not really to interested in recomending one website over the other in this writting. But if your interested in learning to play the guitar, you shouldn't have any trouble at all finding a very good site that can teach you every thing you need to know (over time) how to play not just good, but like a pro. I recomend it for everyone

thanks for reading, everyone

happy jamin!

Welcome to HubPages! I think learning any instrument takes patience at first. Trouble is, once you've learned one (I learned the piano) it's hard to go right back to the beginning with another one. So I can't see myself playing the guitar any time soon!
